The Islamic State in India is using every tool at its disposal to make inroads in the country. Following the ban on the Popular Front of India, the Islamic State condemned by the action by the Indian government, but also made its intention clear and that was to replace the outfit in all possible ways.
There have been several modules that have been busted in India in recent times and the most recent one being in Pune. The Islamic State or the Al-Qaeda has been for long commenting on the internal affairs of India. Be it the hijab row in Karnataka or violence at Nuh, both outfits have been putting out comments on its respective mouthpieces about the same.
In the most recent development, the Nuh violence made it to the magazine of the Islamic State. It was in fact the cover of the magazine which is called the ‘Voice of Khurasan.’
Intelligence Bureau officials say that these outfits are really not concerned about the problems India faces. It is a clear attempt to instigate Indian Muslims and ensure that communal harmony is disrupted in the country.
Take the Kerala case for that matter. A group called as Pet Lovers had been formed by one Syed Nabeel Ahmed. During the course of the investigation, he had revealed that his intention was to create communal disharmony by carrying out terror attacks in the country. He also said that he had planned on robbing two Temples to raise money for the attacks. He further revealed that he and his gang had planned on murdering two Hindu priests in a bid to further communal tensions.
The same was found in the case of the Pune module as well. The intention was once again to create communal disturbances in the country.
The Islamic State releases its magazine through various propaganda channels. It also releases its version on Telegram. Provocative messages are put up in the articles that threatened to target pro-HIndu ministers and those who are protecting the cows in the country.
It is very clear explains an official. The idea is to ensure that there is communal disharmony in the country ahead of several crucial elections.
While the Islamic State is attempting to make its foothold in the country, the other problem is that with Pakistan. It has been using newer infiltration routes so that it could carry out terror in Jammu And Kashmir. The unfortunate incident that took place in the Union territory is proof of the same. Following a successful G-20 Summit, Pakistan would look to use all its resources in carrying out attacks in country. The use of drones in Punjab or furthering the drug corridor between Sri Lanka and India are all part of the nefarious plans put in place by the country. In the
