Arjun Ram Meghwal has replaced Kiren Rijiju as the Union Law Minister.
Kiren Rijiju has been assigned the Ministry of Earth Sciences, sources tell OneIndia.
A communication by Rashtrapati Bhavan said, “the President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister has been pleased to direct the reallocation of portfolios among the Ministers in the Union Council of Ministers. The portfolio of Ministry of Earth Sciences is being assigned to Kiren Rijiju. Arjun Ram Meghwal, minister of state is being assigned the independent charge as ministry of state in the ministry of law and justice in addition to his existing portfolios in place of Kiren Rijiju.”
