The Kerala Story has been in the news for sometime now. The movie focuses on the girls from Kerala who were converted and then sold off as sex-slaves to the Islamic State in Afghanistan.
The case relating to the 24 persons who left Kerala to join the Islamic State in Afghanistan is being probed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Officials tell OneIndia that this is a documented case and the probe is on to find out if more such persons have been involved. The official however added that this is a case pertaining to the Kerala Islamic State module, where a consistent effort had been made to trap as many people as possible and then send them to Afghanistan.
