The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a supplementary chargesheet in connection with a Lashkar-e-Tayiba off-shoot case.
The charges were filed against one Faisal Muneer, who is a member of the banned The Resistence Front, which is an off shoot of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba. The NIA has accused Muneer of conspiring with Pakistan based operatives to transport firearms and explosives in order to carry out acts of terror in India.
He is accused of entering into a conspiracy with his handlers based in Pakistan to deliver consignments of weapons and explosives to active terror commanders and operatives of these outfits for commission of acts of terror in India, the NIA said.
