A naxalite attack in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh claimed the lives of 10 policemen and a driver of their vehicle.

While the agencies are probing the attack, several questions have arisen about the lack of Intelligence the possibility of the Standard Operating Procedure not being followed. The lack of following the procedure could have led to a lapse in security, an official tells OneIndia.
Another question that has arisen is as to why the policemen were travelling in a rented van, especially in an area infested with naxalites. The vehicle was hit by a 50 kilogram Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on Wednesday.
