Amritpal Singh’s streak of terrorising Punjab may soon end with the central agencies upping their radar on the radical Sikh leader.
The agencies are gathering more information about the pro-Khalistan leader Amritpal and are in the process of preparing a dossier on him. His hate speeches, acts of violence and demands for a separate nation are likely to make it to the dossier.
An Intelligence Bureau official tells OneIndia that the very fact that he dresses and acts like terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale is a matter of concern. The official also said that the situation is not yet out of control in Punjab, but the seeds of hate are being sowed, which is not a good sign.
