
The security forces have in the first six months of the year gunned down over 100 terrorists in the Valley even as securing the Amarnath Yatra remains a major challenge ahead
New Delhi, Jun 14: This morning two Lashkar-e-Tayiba terrorists were killed in an encounter that took place at the Kanjiular area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian. The terrorists were identified as Jan Mohammad Lone and Tufail Ganai.
The two terrorists have. Lone was involved in the killing of Vijay Kumar a bank manager in Kulgam district.
In recent times there have been concerns about the targeted killing of Kashmiri Pandits, Hindu migrants and government employees. The task for the security forces in the Valley has been challenging in the wake of these killings.
