Nagaland deaths: Intel failure not ruled out


New Delhi, Dec 06: A botched up operation in Nagaland by the Indian Army led to the death of 13 villagers. While a probe has been launched by the police, the Army in a statement said that action will be taken at the highest level.

The Indian Army was under immense pressure following the killing of Colonel Viplav Tripathi, his wife, son and four soldiers. They were killed in a well planned ambush by insurgents in Manipur on November 13.
